O’Donovan Agri Environmental Services provide Emergency Support Services to both the public & private sector in times of major & civic Emergency & Disaster Situations countrywide. As contractors for the Major Emergency Plan, we provide a comprehensive Rapid Response for incidents involving; flooding, fire, severe weather conditions, animal disease outbreak & other civic emergencies.

Our Services Include:

Emergency Water Distribution:

We can provide a comprehensive water
distributing network for both public &
private customers. With 19 water carriers
of various sizes from 1000 litre mobiles to
articulated tankers, water distribution for
sanitary & drinking purposes is made easy. The company distributed 19 million litres of drinking water to Cork City residents in a period of 144 hours during the activation of the major emergency plan, when severe flooding disrupted the city water works in 2009. We also provide drinking & sanitisation water solutions for outdoor events, to Health Care providers such as Hospital & Nursing Homes, & Hostelries such as Hotels & Restaurants during times of water shortage & or contamination of local supplies .

Flooding & Water Pumping:

A rapid response solution is available for most flood situations from providing water pumping and water movement to sand bagging & barrier erection to a final clean up remedy.

We also provide a pump hire service nationwide, including complete emergency solutions with high volume pumps capable of pumping water up to 1Km.

Emergency Road & Facility Washing:

Emergency Road & facility washing is available for road spillages, major traffic incidents, chemical plant spillages & leaks and pollution spillages.

Animal Disease Outbreak:

In situations of contagious animal disease outbreak & contaminated food stuffs occurrence, we provide:

  • Farm & Inplant Disinfecting & Fumigation Services.
  • Infection Control Measures.
  • Disinfection Mats & Vehicle Wash Down Baths.

Salt Spreading & Snow Ploughing:

We can provide a complete winter package for Businesses, Health Care, Retail, Educational & Public Infrastructure. Many pre planned winter packages are available to choose from depending on your possible needs for your business. A 24 hour service is available during times of adverse weather conditions.

No matter how large or how small your requirement is, we are here to assist you & your business during cold times. Salt Spreading can be carried out from the very smallest of hand operated spreaders to large truck mounted units if your areas require large volumes of application.

We also cater for Salt Handling & Storage for clients who wish to avail of our winter services packages.

Snow ploughing is provided from the very smallest pedestrian operated machines, up to large tractor mounted snow ploughs.
